Volunteer with the Parks Foundation and Our Community Partners
“You make a living by what you get, but you make a life by what you give.” – Winston Churchill.
The Parks Foundation can only run as smoothly as it does with the assistance of volunteers like you. We have something for everyone: office duties, events, and getting directly out into the parks.
Clark County Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers play an integral role in our community by caring for and improving parks, trails, road sides and other public places. Not only do volunteers provide valuable support, but they also bring new ideas, energy and perspective. Click here to learn about Clark County PARK HEROS.
City of Vancouver Opportunities
Ongoing or one time opportunities with the City of Vancouver can accommodate individuals, families, groups, businesses and people of all ages and abilities. Volunteers are vital to the success of our community, and greatly contribute to our sense of community and well being. Save the date and fill out your Vancouver volunteer application here.
Volunteer Outreach Team
The Parks Foundation is seeking a core team of outreach volunteers to assist us in our efforts by:
- providing information to the community about the mission, vision, and goals of the foundation
- promoting the many wonderful recreational opportunities available throughout Clark County
- encouraging Parks Foundation membership
- hosting outreach tables at events around the community primarily during the summer months.
The Foundation will provide training so you can feel confident talking about all that we do. Volunteers will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of events, times, and places to lend their enthusiasm for the parks, trails, and recreational programs of Clark County.
