
The Parks Foundation is leading the charge to get all kids (young and old) back into nature!
Inspired by Last Child in the Woods by Richard Louv, the Parks Foundation is leading a community-wide initiative to reconnect children of all ages to nature.

Join Our Nature Explore Club!
The Vancouver-Clark County Nature Explore Clubs, organized by the Parks Foundation and Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation Department, will provide parents, grandparents, and other adults the necessary tools to bring the children in their lives closer to nature. Clubs have access to kits that include materials from the Nature Explore® program of the Arbor Day Foundation and Dimensions Educational Research Foundation. Other information provided by Children Nature Network and REI, and Vancouver-Clark Parks guides, all designed to introduce participants to the wonders of nature in their local parks, trails and open spaces.
