You can be a HERO! You appreciate our livable community. You enjoy high quality parks, maintained trails, and professionally run recreation activities. It is, however, conceivable that your children, or your children’s children will not experience these wonderful amenities we often take for granted. Widespread county and city budget cuts have already had an impact on our parks, trails, and recreation programs. Further budget woes are predicted, and it will be community heroes like you who save the day.

Join a growing team of superheroes. Last year, the foundation helped fund a summer playground program in Battle Ground, placed new signage and lighting in Yacolt’s town park, provided new playground equipment in Washougal, and helped fund the countywide Everybody Plays! recreation scholarship program. We enhanced senior programs, funded a new event tent for the city of Camas, and placed a water fountain in Ridgefield’s Davis Park. The Parks Foundation positively impacts hundreds of people each day.

Be a hero. The hour has arrived to stand in solidarity with your neighbor.
