Matt Bisturis |
Matt earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Puget Sound and went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oregon, School of Law. An Associate Attorney with Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt in Vancouver, Bisturis brings not only his expertise in business and real estate law to the Foundation, but also his passion and commitment to our community’s parks, trails, and recreation programs. |
Dan Clark |
Dan is the Vice President and Retail Division Manager of Banner Bank. Dan is also a member of the Rotary Club of Greater Clark County and serves on the Columbia Land Trust Board. |
Bryan Cole |
Bryan, Vice President of Landscape Architecture for MacKay & Sposito, Inc., brings more than 19 years of experience and expertise in park and recreation design including the development of neighborhood, community, and regional parks, trails, and environmental restoration projects to the board. |
Syble Crow |
Syble graduated from Marylhurst University with a dual degree in Communications and Social Services. She was appointed by the Vancouver Clark Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission to serve as liaison to the Parks Foundation Board in September 2010. Syble has been employed with the Vancouver Housing Authority as Executive Office Manager and Risk Manager for the past 30 years. She has served as a board member for the Clark County Substance Abuse Board, the Catholic Community Services Board, Share, YWCA and Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. |

Debbi Hanson |
Debbi is the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Battle Ground. With over 27 years of experience in the Parks and Recreation field she was hired by the City of Battle Ground in 2008 to be their first ever Parks and Recreation Director. She is committed to helping make Clark County a better place to live, work and PLAY! |
Sharon Lien |
Sharon, Community Activist and Volunteer, is an alumna of Leadership Clark County and a member of the Woodland Rotary Club. |
Rob Nielsen |
Rob, Western Regional vice president for Waste Connections, Inc., is accountable for 96 operating locations in his geographical territory. As a foundation board member, he will assist with fundraising efforts and serve as a member of the foundation’s golf tournament committee. Rob also serves on the board of the Southwest Washington Red Cross. |
Jaime Parra |
Jaime is the CEO of Vancouver Elite Gymnastics Academy. Jaime became involved with the Parks Foundation to lend a hand in creating and keeping Clark County a natural, beautiful, and accessible place. |
Larry Smith |
Larry currently serves as a councilmember and Mayor ProTem of the Vancouver City Council. Before embarking on a political career, Larry served in the US Army for 26 years, retiring as a Colonel of Infantry in 1991. Larry went on to work as Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Vancouver and as Director of Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation Department before retiring from the City in 2003. |
Megan Strand |
Megan, Director of Communications for Cause Marketing Forum, brings experience in both the public and nonprofit sector to the foundation. Strand earned a bachelor’s degree cum laude in marketing from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and a Project Management Professional (PMP) Credential from the Project Management Institute. |
Todd Stryker |
Todd ,partner and financial advisor with First Pacific Associates, earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University and his Certified Financial Planner designation from the College for Financial Planning. Todd also serves as a member of the Columbia Land Trust Finance Committee and as a volunteer for the Vancouver School District Foundation Lunch Buddy program. |
