Establish an eco club. Community service projects can include nonnative invasive plant removal, trail building, cleanup and trail maintenance.

Engage parents, physicians, landscape designers, businesspeople, and civic leaders to help the parks departments develop safe natural learning environments within walking distance of every school. Include visits to parks and overnight camping trips in the curriculum.
