Community Grants

Established in 2008, the Parks Foundation Community Grant Award program has provided $98,836 in support of projects ranging in size and scope from the addition of new security signage and lighting in Yacolt’s Town Park to the Take Back Evergreen Park Summer Playground program aimed at creating a safe and positive atmosphere for children living in and near the Fourth Plain Corridor. The number of grants awarded and the amount of funding available varies on a year-to-year basis as the fund balance grows.  What remains constant is the vision that drives both our fundraising and our grant-making processes.

The Parks Foundation also serves as a resource and network to the individual groups and organizations working to enhance the parks, trails, and recreation programs of Clark County. For more information about these funds, please see our yearly achievement and annual reports.
